Homemade wind turbine with a permanent magnet motor. This can put out up to 200W of power (not 1200W). This project consists of three parts: Mechanical - At this point, only this part is so mobile mini-mast, hub and blades made. Electronics - The next step is to build a microcontroller-based charge controller for my battery bank. I'm planning a LM3S811 evaluation board that I've used. Electric - The last step is to get a tie everything together by some power transfer. Will publish moreVideos and comments about the project as it progresses.
